Are you passionate about measuring, understanding and optimizing digital products and monetization - both from a quantitative and qualitative perspective? We are looking for a multi-disciplinary, creative digital analyst to further strengthen our team (Zurich & Lausanne).

You will be an integral part of our team, Digital Revenue, where you will help develop profitable, innovative and new digital sales approaches for Tamedia’s core business - paid media (e.g. Tages-Anzeiger, Tribune de Geneve, 24 heures, Berner Zeitung). This includes optimizing and improving our products as well as gaining new insights about target audiences. Hence, our team works in the intersection of editorial departments, product, marketing, and IT.

Your responsibilities

  • Your analyses and insights will help digital product development and sales
  • Your reportings will prove invaluable to stakeholders and other teams
  • Your digital measurement skills will help overcome tracking challenges and strengthen data quality
  • Your statistical knowledge will give the team an edge in driving digital efforts forward
  • Your market observational skills and curiosity spark new ideas
  • Your digital knowledge aids digital marketing and growth tactics
  • Your coding and troubleshooting ingenuity fosters data-driven automation and reporting

Must have / Minimum Qualification

We are looking for analytical skills paired with creativity. An implementation and architectural flair paired with an optimization and growth mentality.

  • Previous, hands-on working experience within business/marketing/data analytics
  • Higher education degree in a industry relevant field, such as business, statistics, technologies or similar
  • First touchpoints with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase or Tag Manager
  • Good technical flair and understanding of web and app technologies
  • Understanding of statistical methods and eager to grow into more statistical modeling related topics
  • Cross-functional communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity, with high-attention to detail
  • Fluent in German and English


Nice to have / Preferred Qualification

  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics (360) and related technologies
  • Hands-on experience in planning and setting up A/B tests and personalization campaigns
  • Track record in data design and storytelling
  • Background in digital marketing, SEO, marketing/advertising technology, or e-commerce
  • Knowledge of BI and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, DataStudio)
  • Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, especially in data (e.g. BigQuery)
  • Working knowledge of statistical programming languages (e.g. R, Python) and statistical data models
  • Proficiency in French
