For our Tamedia e-commerce Solutions we are looking for an APPLICATION ENGINEER. Our multi tenant, multi language Webshop is a Core Application in Tamedia’s Publishing Sector to increase our Revenue and satisfies our Customers with lean self service functionalities. You'll help us to grow the business and our engineering-teams to shift our platform to the next level, while driving innovations.

Application Engineer Webshop/ e-commerce

Your responsibilities:

  • Development of e-commerce solutions in Java based on Hybris on a Senior Level
  • Support Coordination of Development, Maintenance, optimisation, deployment of existing e-commerce systems
  • Requirements engineering with our business partners and project managers
  • Develop the CI/CD Setup
  • Incident & Operations Management
  • Support, help and educate Junior Developers
  • Technical Consultancy

Your Qualification:

  • Proven experience in web development and e-commerce
  • Proven experience with Java, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, J2EE, Web-MVC-Frameworks
  • Proven experience with hybris 6.0+
  • Experience with Spring, Groovy, Velocity and gradle is a plus
  • Quality oriented, Analytical and creative thinking
  • Solid understanding of object oriented programming, design and debugging skills
  • Experience with Automated Test management tools is a plus
  • Common with tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, GiT, Jira, Confluence.
  • Understanding of API interfaces (REST)
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Proficient oral and written communications skills in English
  • German would be considered as a strong advantage, French would be considered as a plus
  • Five years plus in developing Hybris Application preferable in a Leading Role in Hybris Development
